Prior to establishing Eastern Shore Partners LLC with Sandra Johnson in June of 2006, Joe Weems worked exclusively in his family’s business, Weems Brothers, Inc., for 38 years. Weems Brothers is a land and marine construction company, specializing in riprap revetments, timber bulkheads, timber piers and pilings, demolition and clearing, site work (building driveways and roads) as well as securing tidal wetland permits. Joe’s a native and knows just where to go and who to call in Talbot County to get things done!
For eight years, Sandra was resident estate manager of a very large property in Potomac, Maryland. She worked for the owners of the Sugarloaf Craft Festivals, one of the oldest and largest fine art and contemporary craft festivals in the United States. When the owners were traveling—and their schedule was extensive—Sandra was left solely in charge of the property. The house and grounds were purchased “as is” and Sandra was responsible for bringing the estate up to the standard it now enjoys.
